Senior Controlling Specialist

Opis pozicije
- Ensure Data Excellence: Maintain the accuracy and integrity of financial and operational data across all platforms, including ERP and Tableau
- Optimize Controls: Design and implement robust control procedures to validate data and proactively correct errors
- Lead Month-End Coordination: Orchestrate the monthly closing process by defining clear timelines, control points, and procedures
- Bridge Accounting & Controlling: Collaborate closely with the accounting team to reconcile balances, align financial results, and manage account mapping between ERP and management reports
- Standardize Group Reporting: Ensure consistent reporting structures across different entities and international markets
- Monitor Market Performance: Track month-end progress globally, identifying and resolving any delays or discrepancies in reporting
- Analyze & Reconcile: Perform deep-dive analysis on Management Accounts, Trial Balances, Cash Flow, and Player Wallets to ensure internal and external data alignment
- Manage External Partners: Act as the lead contact for external tax and accounting consultants regarding statutory reporting for non-core markets
- Consolidate Results: Prepare consolidated management accounts and high-level reports for the leadership team, highlighting key trends and variances
- Drive Planning & Budgeting: Contribute to the annual budgeting and forecasting cycles, monitoring actual performance against targets
- Continuous Improvement: Identify systemic gaps and champion the standardization of reporting processes to improve efficiency
Uslovi
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in Controlling, Audit, or FP&A, preferably within an international group. Experience in high-transaction industries (iGaming, Finance, Retail, Telco) is a major plus
- Bachelor’s degree in economics or related fields
- Strong grasp of financial/management accounting, group consolidation, and intercompany eliminations. Familiarity with IFRS is preferred
- Advanced Excel skills (modeling and large data sets) and experience with ERP systems and BI tools (Tableau preferred)
- Proven track record in month-end closing, management reporting across multiple entities, and the budgeting/forecasting process
- Experience collaborating with external auditors and tax advisors, with a basic understanding of internal controls
- Professional certifications (ACCA, CIMA, CFA) or specialized BI training are considered an advantage
