Mozzart's caravan takes off from Kolarac

The musical caravan “On the Wings of Music with Mozart” successfully took off on its musical flight through Serbia. The first in a series of humanitarian concerts in cooperation with the Mozzart company was held in the Great Hall of the Kolarac Endowment, which was completely filled. The main star, pianist Stefan Djoković, performed works by Franz Schubert, Frederic Chopin, and Franz Liszt, which the audience enjoyed.

The humanitarian musical caravan “On the Wings of Music with Mozart” will visit 12 cities across our country over the course of 12 months, and is being held under the auspices of Mrs. Tamara Vučić, who announced the first solo concert in Belgrade with words of support.

“There is an ancient Persian proverb that says: ‘What you eat will rot, and what you give will turn into a rose.’ This is exactly the goal of such a mission, such a project, to start this wave of giving in the next 11 months in 11 cities across our great country where people throughout Serbia will have the opportunity to hear Stefan Đoković, enjoy classical music, and participate in one wave of donations, in that humanitarian side of such a project, because all the funds that will be collected on this occasion will actually be donated to cultural centres. As I come from a small community, I know the importance of cultural centres, they are gathering places, they are places of social and cultural events. And the last but certainly not the least is the strength of a young man. Stefan Đoković is a multi-talented young man, who should have and has all the capacities to be a role model and an idol for young people,” said Mrs. Tamara Vučič at the beginning of the concert.

The musical caravan, in cooperation with the Mozzart company, supports the work of cultural institutions, because the entire revenue from the tickets sold will be donated to the centres of culture where the concerts will be held. The first next stop is Loznica on 27 February, where the audience will have the opportunity to enjoy the piano works of famous composers performed by Stefan Djoković and thus support the work of the cultural centre of their city.

Classical music lovers will have the opportunity to listen to concerts in Niš, Valjevo, Kragujevac, Kraljevo, Zaječar, Vrnjačka Banja, Subotica, Priboj, Čačak, and Novi Sad. The cities where the concerts will be held cover every part of our country from north to south, east and west.
